Lo-Chlor Tropical Pool Algaecide is a dual-action, heavy duty, tropical-strength algaecide to defeat even the most stubborn algae infestations. It can be used to control and treat blackspot, green and mustard algae.

Please note: This product contains copper. We recommend testing the copper levels of your pool water before using this product.


Product Features

Lo-Chlor Tropical Pool Algaecide is a dual-action, heavy duty, tropical-strength algaecide to defeat even the most stubborn algae infestations. It can be used to control and treat blackspot, green and mustard algae.

Dosage

 2.5 litres per 50,000 litres of pool water (500mLs per 10,000 litres)

Instructions

  1. Clean pool thoroughly by vacuuming walls and floor.
  2. Maintain pH between 7.2-7.6.
  3. Superchlorinate pool.
  4. Wait at least 48 hours and until after swimming has ceased for the day, add the calculated volume of Lo-Chlor Tropical Pool Algaecide near the algae. Do not add via pool skimmer.
  5. Allow a few days for product to clear algae infested pools. To remove black spot and other growths on the walls or floor of pool, use a stiff bristled or stainless steel brush. Allow sediment to settle for 2-3 hours, then vacuum to waste.
  6. Do NOT superchlorinate or add any alkaline material for 48 hours before or after using this product. Delay normal dosing for 24 hours after treatment. Check chlorine or bromine levels after applying this product and adjust if necessary. This product is not compatible with Baquacil (polyhexamethylenebiguanide).
